Description
The Kent County Council (KCC) wishes to engage with suppliers regarding the provision of engine oil disposal and recovery services for waste engine oil deposited by residents at Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs). KCC is seeking to understand how this service could support long term resilience, environmental performance and value for money over the life of a future contract. Waste engine oil is currently deposited by the public at HWRCs and stored in designated containers prior to collection. The Authority is seeking to understand market capability in relation to: •Collection from 19 HWRCs; •Treatment, recycling, recovery, or disposal of waste engine oil; •Compliance with all relevant environmental, waste, and health and safety legislation; •Service resilience, capacity, and value for money.
