Provision of Bond Strength Testing of Composite-Repaired Pipe Segment

HSE has a decommissioned engineered composite repair from an offshore installation. Engineered composite repairs for the repair or refurbishment of metallic structures are becoming increasingly common both on offshore and onshore installations. Bond strength testing is required on the main pipe section and requires the contractor to take receipt of this and complete an empirical test schedule with the aim of determining bond strength. The testing is to undertaken at the contractor's location.
