Description
No. 31 High Street, Droitwich is a nationally significant structure. The Solar Range, which has been dated to 1420, was attached to an open hall (now in separate ownership) dating to 1340. The Solar is exceptional for the quality of its 3 bay roof structure. To the rear of the solar is a later medieval range now largely rebuilt in brick and late 17th Century/early 18th century further brick ranges. The works include heavy oak timber frame repairs, brick repairs and re-roofing and adaptations of the building for mixed use.
