Young People Specialist Early Response Team

The London Borough of Waltham Forest (LBWF) in partnership with the Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (WFCCG) are committed to providing high quality, targeted, evidence-based interventions for vulnerable children and young people experiencing mental health and/or substance misuses issues. Similar to the national picture, there is a high and growing demand for child and youth mental health services in Waltham Forest. The Service will be responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions to specified client groups including looked after children, youth offenders and care leavers and providing clinical consultation, supervision and support to case holding staff and carers in order to improve outcomes for our children and young people.
