Description
The former colliery site of Chatterley Whitfield, owned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council comprises 10 hectares of former mining buildings and structures within a wider setting of a 50 hectare country park created on the colliery spoil. This current appointment focuses on the creation of a visioning document, which seeks to provide the inspiration to achieve government, multi-level and public-private interest; which can lead to action in a series of incremental steps. The process and outcome is also a means of bringing together all partners and the community to enable co-ordinated action and commitment.
