The Royal Concert Hall opened in 1982, boasting a modern design by Renton Howard Wood Levin Partnership with a main auditorium which seats over 2000. It has become a leading venue for touring bands and artists from classical to heavy metal. The acoustical design of the auditorium was created by reference to the standards of world-famous concert halls and the acoustic banners were introduced as part of the build and are now due a replacement. Nottingham City Council (hereafter 'the Employer') is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors to design, supply, deliver and install Acoustic Banners with motors and control system at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, Theatre Square, NG1 5ND.
