Description
The aim of the Children and Young People's (C&YP) Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) Service is to help improve the EHWB of C&YP across Staffordshire. This will be achieved by providing an Early Intervention and Prevention model of support to meet the Mild to Moderate Mental Health needs of C&YP. The Service will use Evidence-Based approaches to: • Promote good EHWB for C&YP and their Families. • Prevent EHWB difficulties from occurring or getting worse. • Provide interventions and support when C&YP and their Families need them. The Service will be delivered by a staff team of suitably trained, knowledgeable and experienced Personnel, who will deliver a range of Evidence-based Interventions in line with the most recent best practice recommendations, such as National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
