Description
Bromley CCG is seeking expressions of interest from organisations for the provision of a direct access, community-based, phlebotomy service. Direct Access refers to GP referrals for blood tests. The service will be for adults aged 13 plus who are registered with a Bromley GP. Children aged 12 and below will continue to be seen by the local hospital children's team. The majority of Phlebotomy activity is currently delivered at walk-in sessions by the local hospital trust. Additionally, around half of the 45 GP practices in Bromley offer phlebotomy as an enhanced service, often subcontracted to a community provider. Booked appointment phlebotomy services operate out of three primary care access hubs. The CCG is seeking to appoint a single provider to manage and deliver all Direct Access Phlebotomy out of a number of community-based venues to meet the local population needs. To express an interest please email Warren Galstin (warren.galstin@nhs.net) by 15/08/2018.
