MCIP Power Upgrades Tender

The delivery of the power expansion scope will ensure adequate power resilience across the Metrolink lines as a result of the introduction of 27 new trams. Should the power expansion scope not be delivered, the delivery of the target service pattern would be impacted upon and, in addition, the impact and likelihood of failures in other locations would increase, in-turn increasing disruption to the network and the travelling public.
