Kimmerfields - Site Clearance

Kimmerfields - Site Clearance Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of site clearance works at the Kimmerfields Development in Swindon Town Centre. Project Description The Kimmerfields site clearance works are the first stage of the redevelopment of the Kimmerfields development, a major redevelopment which will provide mixed-use development including offices, residential, shops, restaurants & cafes, drinking establishments, public realm and associated highways works when complete. This tender is to procure a Contractor to carry out the site clearance works including the removal of existing concrete slabs and foundations and the removal of redundant utilities. The improvements to Kimmerfields will help achieve the Council's priority to: improve infrastructure and housing to support a growing, low-carbon economy, offer that lead to the right jobs in the right places. It is proposed that works are to commence onsite in March 2021 The estimated cost of these works is £1.2m Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.
