The Oxford Academy

The Oxford Academy provides good teaching, small classes, excellent intervention support for literacy and numeracy, reinforced by regular assessments. They make sure they know every student well from the minute they start at the Academy. Pastoral support at The Oxford Academy is strong and behaviour is of the highest standard. They also work closely with their families and their community to ensure the best possible outcomes for their children.Although they have experienced some difficult times since opening as The Oxford Academy in 2008, they are now starting to make significant improvements. The recent Ofsted inspections have noted the good behaviour around the Academy, that teaching is now improving and that the school is effectively managed. They are now determined to build on this and are very confident that student progress will improve significantly in the forthcoming years.
