Description
The EVE programme provides Royal Botanic Gardens Kew (RBGKEW) with a number of opportunities to grow its revenue streams and to achieve operational efficiencies through improved and streamlined ways of working. RBG Kew, however, currently finds itself with an extensive aging technical infrastructure and several operational solutions that cater for the needs of certain teams/audiences but do not meet the needs of the organisation as a whole. Many of these processes can be manual which compromises data availability, quality and its accuracy. This means we do not understand the extent or volume of interactions our visitors have with us and we cannot see or react to commercial opportunities. The visitor experience at RBG Kew is also disjointed and unsatisfactory as a result. This organic progression has led to a disparate technical landscape with varying commercials in place with multiple suppliers. Rather than attempting to replace individual systems in silos the intention is to deliver a single integrated landscape that will enable phased delivery of business capability over a period of time. The period of the contract is intended to be 4 years across multiple phases. It may be extended by RBG Kew for up to 2 years, renewable annually i.e. 1+1 years.
