Description
Following the Pre-construction Services HP Contracts submitted their tender for the works which comprised: Refurbishments of currently unused areas of their local police stations, to open these areas back up to the public. The sites have existing dated front counter facilities, and the aim is to provide light touch refurbishments of the areas within scope to allow for the local police stations to re-open to the public. These areas largely consist of a main reception area with glazed police enquiry counter and interview rooms, with most sites requiring refurbishment of further spaces adjacent to these areas such as small offices and accessible toilets. The current front counter areas have a condition commensurate to their use, age and time spent mothballed. At a high-level glance, all areas will require new decorations, wall finishes, doors, lighting, and minor amendments, alterations, and additions to existing M&E such as power and data. The front counter glazed screens are also to be upgraded to varying degrees.
