Description
Brighton & Hove City Council intends to undertake a procurement process for the delivery of an Adult Drug & Alcohol Treatment Service. This notice is issued to inform the provider market of our intentions and to invite participation in early market engagement activities. Summary of Requirements: The Council seeks to commission a comprehensive, integrated treatment and recovery service for adults (18+) affected by drug and/or alcohol use. The service will include: • Engagement and assessment • Psychosocial interventions • Clinical treatment (MAT, alcohol detox pathways, liver scan, Hep B vaccine, BBV testing) • Harm reduction, including NSP and naloxone • Outreach service to supported accommodation, including prescribing, NSP and Naloxone • Co-occurring condition responses • Specialised Psychology team and intervention • Hospital liaison • Criminal justice pathways, including continuation of care • Transition work from CYP service • Recovery support and peer-led intervention • Management of inpatient detox • Developing new pathways for ketamine and other New Psychoactive Substances *PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS MARKET ENGAGEMENT UNDER THE PROVIDER SELECTION REGIME, RATHER THAN PROCUREMENT ACT 2023*
