Description

This procurement is being processed by CORMAC Solutions Ltd. CORMAC Solutions was formed on 01 April 2012. It is an arms-length, wholly owned company of Cornwall Council responsible for delivering a wide range of services to the Council and residents of Cornwall. CORMAC Solutions is inviting tenders for the reactive and scheduled repair of potholes and minor carriageway defects across Cornwall’s highway network. The Contract will be used to complement CORMAC Solutions' existing labour resource to meet fluctuating workloads. The intention is to appoint a sole Contractor to this Contract. CORMAC Solutions has adopted a fully automated electronic transfer of works process for managing pothole and minor carriageway defects repairs. Potential Tenderers will need to be able to demonstrate their ability and experience of electronic transfer of works systems and procedures, including resources available, to meet this mandatory requirement of the Contract. CORMAC Solutions proposes to enter into the Contract for a maximum period of 6 years with the successful Contractor. The Contract will have an initial duration of 4 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance and repricing negotiations. The value of works within this Contract is estimated to be from £150,000 up to £750,000 per annum. The value of the works is wholly dependent on Client budgets.
