Description
Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. UKBF operate a fleet of six (6) Coastal Patrol Vessels (CPV), all CPVs are equipped and certified to Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) MGN 280 Workboat Code of Practice, (HSVC) Category 2, for service in waters up to 60 nautical miles from a safe haven. All six (6) CPVs have a requirement for a programme of maintenance, annual certification and, also, some defect rectification. Bidders are required to submit a quotation. This contract will commence between the 13th and 14th June 2019 following a sourcing exercise based on written quotation. The purpose of this document is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Ian McDermott, Home Office Commercial at the following address; ian.mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk. Potential suppliers are to confirm their interest in this opportunity by providing the itemised quotation, a draft Cardinal Date Plan (CDP) as mentioned in sect. 5.4 of the SoR and confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded (attached for reference).
