Description

In accordance with best procurement practice, EU and UK Procurement Directives and Regulations and the Authority's service order, the Authority is seeking to choose a Tenderer(s) by competitive Tender for the Refurbishment and Maintenance of Drill Towers across the Authority's estate. The objectives of this contract are: · Planned drill tower refurbishment works and reactive maintenance as called off at the Employer's sites across the county of Kent · To ensure that the Service receives full and uninterrupted use of the essential operational areas throughout the period of this contract There 30 drill towers in use across the estate and the majority of these are steel framed and clad in timber. A small number of towers are clad in plastic. There are also a small number of brick built towers within the estate. The Employer will engage structural engineers as and when required and any resulting reports will be made available to the successful contractor.
