Electrical Installation Works and Emergency Lighting

Rykneld Homes Ltd (RHL) working with, and on behalf of, North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) is seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake Electrical installation works on communal areas throughout the district of North East Derbyshire. The works and pricing schedule have been attached separately, Contractors are required to notify RHL and attend site prior to pricing the works. Any attendance on site must be agreed with the Procurement Team, via the In-tend portal. The successful Contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the allocated works, including undertaking a condition report on each block, installation and certification. This will be an installation programme with the supply of materials partly provided by Rykneld Homes. RHL will supply all lighting and bulkheads as per the drawings provided, the bidders price needs to include for labour, wiring, trunking, fixings etc and any requirements for making good and certification when pricing. Although Rykneld Homes will pay and supply the lighting, the successful bidder will be responsible for the 'call off' of these materials, using a local supplier to Rykneld Homes. We will be seeking to appoint the successful bidder to the role of Principle Contractor (under CDM Regulations 2015) for the duration of the works.
