English Institute of Sport: Mental Health Champion Training

The English Institute of Sport Ltd (EIS) are inviting suppliers to tender for the delivery of a Mental Health Champions programme. In 2020 UK Sport and the EIS initiated a Mental Health Champions programme with the aim of providing additional skills, knowledge and support to those individuals in the High Performance System who play a role in supporting mental health. Phase one of this programme (development of training content and delivery to 150 Mental Health Champions) took place throughout the UK High Performance System throughout 2020-2021. This current opportunity will focus on phase two of the programme: • Continued delivery of training for an additional 150 Mental Health Champions • Delivery of ongoing reflective practice group sessions for these additional 150 Mental Health Champions • Delivery of ongoing reflective practice group sessions for the 150 existing Mental Health Champions (those trained and supported in phase one). This current opportunity will run from 1 October 2021 to 23 September 2023, bringing the total number of Mental Health Champions in the High Performance System to 300 in time for the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, 2024.
