Description

This is the third of three invitations to tender on this topic. The ETF seeks to encourage final year undergraduates and post graduates to consider a career in teaching in FE. One approach to this is to get such students to spend some time in FE providers (colleges or independent Training Providers (ITPs)), helping with the delivery. The ETF is seeking a tenderer to organise mentored placements with FE sector providers and facilitating this by offering financial incentives to the students and operational funding to the colleges/ITPs. The successfully appointed tenderer will research and compile a list of local vacancies including part time teaching vacancies which will be made available to participants. We are seeking to award three contracts in separate regions for this work across England. The successfully appointed tenderer will be expected to work across one of the following English FE areas: North, Central and South: This ITT is for the South area including the South West, South East and London FE regions. The successfully appointed tenderers for each region will be expected to work together to share good practice. Separate ITTs have been published for the North and Central regions. Tenderers wishing to bid for more than one region must complete a separate tender response document for each.
