FCDO Legal Support

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, has overall responsibility for the UK-EU relationship following the UK's exit from the EU including for the operation of the aspects of the relationship governed by the UK-EU Trade and Co-operation Agreement ("the TCA"). The FCDO required external legal services to support it in relation to potential arbitration under the dispute resolution procedures in the TCA in relation to policy decisions taken by the UK and Scottish Governments to close sandeel fisheries in the North Sea.
