Description
To support reduction, strong international and community action in maritime transport has been undertaken and in addition the IMO Convention MARPOL 73/78 aims to reduce pollution from waste produced by ships. To support these initiatives, ports are obligated to provide port waste reception facilities (PRF), which must be adequate to meet the needs of ships using the port, without causing undue delay. Given the above mentioned, this opportunity is divided into two sections: 1)An audit on the five main international commercial harbours of South Africa (Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Mossel Bay). 2)An audit on the small ports of South Africa DOWNLOAD THE FULL DETAILS AT: https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/XY2782BN24
