Description
The contract is awarded for an initial period of 2 years (24 months) -£535,426.76 ex VAT Optional extension for up to 24 months Maximum contract term - 4 years (48 months) The procurement process was supported initially by MCH Procurement, and then MTW Procurement took over as procurement advisors in 2026 to place a new contract, for the Provision of a Medicine Optimisation Prescribing Decision Support System. NHS Kent and Medway ICB's requirement is for a Prescribing Decision Support System,covering the ICB footprint. A call-off process from the NHS SBS framework (SBS10252) was undertaken, involving a mini competition, this was restricted, only allowing suppliers on the framework to participate, to identify the most suitable provider to deliver requirements. The contract has been awarded to Optum Health Solutions (UK) Limited.
