Description
Project Aim This project will aim to provide an evidence base that will support the Government in making a decision on whether to adopt section 42 of the FWMA 2010. Project Objectives The objective of this project is to provide the latest cost and benefit evidence to enable the 2012 Impact Assessment on sewer adoption to be updated. In particular, to: - Provide robust and up-to-date estimates of the costs to developers (relative to business as usual) of building new sewerage to a common standard. - Assess the economic impact of automatic adoption and a mandatory National Build Standard on, households, WaSCs, Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
