GBSLEP - Provision of GBSLEP External Communications Support - AWARD

Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) requires a supplier for the provision of external communications support for the LEP’s activities. The successful supplier will be required to deliver the promotion of the LEP’s activities in the national and trade media as detailed below. Essential requirements to provide the service include having extensive Press and PR contacts nationally in the relevant national and trade press. The supplier must have experience of delivering a similar service for a comparable organisation. The supplier will need to have an understanding of the LEP’s agenda, its geography, the composition of the business community and the private and public sectors. The external communications support supplier will work closely with the LEP’s Marketing and Communications manager to ensure proactive and reactive press and PR activities align with the LEP’s communications and engagement activities. These activities will be led by the Marketing and Communications manager but may require the support of the organisation providing the external communications resource as set out below. This contract will be for a period of years and will commence from 23rd May 2016 until 22nd May 2018, with the option to extend for a further year.
