Supply of a Surface Mounted Device Pick & Place System

The University of Southampton has successfully concluded and awarded a contract for the supply, installation, commissioning and user training of a Surface Mounted Device (SMD) Pick & Place System for use in the Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) department. The Surface Mounted Device (SMD) Pick and Place System will enhance the capability and capacity of the Electrical and Electronic Project and Teaching Laboratories within the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering. The laboratories, based within the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, are currently ranked number 1 in the UK for its Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate programme.
