Drug & Alcohol Advisers in Hospital

The Service is targeting patients who are resident at Dewsbury Hospital and are admitted into hospital directly for a drug and/or alcohol problem or who have been identified as having a drug and/or alcohol problem but not necessarily been admitted for that. The service will identify patients who disclose using drugs or alcohol and who may benefit from support to manage their substance use. This may be patients attending A&E and the Acute Assessment Unit, or patients who have been admitted.
