The team would provide evening and weekend welfare visits working with families in a strength-based time limited intervention and could also be used as a reunification support service. The workforce would be available to EDS in crisis situations, to either provide additional support to children and their families or where there is significant capacity issues undertake some statutory tasks such as Strategy discussions (qualified staff only).
