Description
Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA) known as the Authority is currently seeking to award a contract to a single provider to work in partnership with it to design, build and provide support, maintenance and training for a website built on a common platform. The Authority is interested in options that may include both open source and proprietary software solutions. The new site must provide a combined solution for the two exisiting public facing web-based platforms, the corporate website (bucksfire.gov.uk) and the People Strategy (people.bucksfire.gov.uk). The appointed provider must be able to develop and implement the new site, to be live and operational, with training delivered full and support package in place by 01 April 2020. The provider must therefore have the resource capacity to take on this phase of the project within the timeframe detailed within this tender doucment, (refer to the timetable) It is intended that the website will be managed in-house by the Authority which will be responsible for regularly reviewing and updating existing content, creating new content and develping and managing the site structure The contract will be for an initial 4 years with an option to extend a further 2 years All tenderers should express their interest to tender via our In-Tend eSourcing platform; this will provide access to all tender documents and ensure all clarifications received will be issued to those interested.
