Description
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council owns and operates its normal levels of vehicles, plant and equipment that it requires, but it has a need of additional vehicles, plant and equipment when operational needs cannot be met such as at peak times of the season or when replacement, additional, or different equipment is required for promotional events. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to establish a framework agreement for the short to medium term hire of vehicles that are required in addition to the Councils owned Vehicles. A maximum of 20 suppliers shall be awarded a place on each Lot. Call-offs shall be made in the order of most economical pricing offered, subject to availability. The Framework life, applicable for both lots, shall be for a period of 2 years with an optional 1 year extension subject to requirement, performance and budget. Suppliers may bid for both Lots and there is no restriction on the number of Lots a Supplier can be successful in. The Authority does not guarantee any spend or requirement through this framework and subsequent lots. All orders are on an ad-hoc basis as and when required.
