Description
Liverpool City Council (LCC) is looking for insight to underpin its tobacco control strategy and ultimately decrease smoking prevalence in the City. Tobacco Control is an umbrella term used to describe a broad range of activities aiming to reduce smoking prevalence. It involves creating environments and norms, where children don't start smoking and adults are motivated and supported to quit. Comprehensive tobacco control adults are motivated and supported to quit. Comprehensive tobacco control is most effective when it is needs-led and evidenced-based and delivered via a co-ordinated, multiagency approach to reducing smoking prevalence and the harm from tobacco. The programme will consist of: 1) A Liverpool City Council consultation 2) In-depth qualitative insight with specific audiences that have higher smoking prevalence's . 3) Qualitative insight to understand perceptions of vaping with a sample of the population. 4) Qualitative insight with a sample private and social landlords on attitudes to the adaptation of smoke free homes 5) Quantitative insight with a representative sample of the population on attitudes towards smokefree homes.
