Provision of Contaminated Land Consultancy Services to Purbeck District Council.

The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contaminated land consultants / companies to provide contaminated land consultancy services to Purbeck District Council. The Council is currently carrying out an inspection of its district for land which is potentially contaminated as required under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. The Council has completed an initial inspection and assessment of 1685 sites within the district and is moving to assess and prioritise the 100 or so higher risk sites which have subsequently been identified. In addition the Council wishes to contract consultancy services for matters related to planning and development of sites where there is the possibility of contaminated land being an issue.
