Description

asra Housing Association (asra) owns and manages approximate 15000 properties within London and the Midlands. The successful service provider/s shall deliver a high quality service offering value for money to asra and its Residents and also provide and secure continuous improvements across all of the works. As part of this contract the service provider may be required to work in partnership with other Contractors/Service Providers, Stakeholders and Consultants employed by the client. This requirement is to be developed by asra and the appointed service provider. It is intended that the contract will commence in August 2016, and subject to annual reviews, run for a period of five years with the option for renewal, as decided by asra, for an extension of up to a further two years, then another three years, subject to satisfactory reviews based upon performance and quality of service and delivery. The maximum duration of the contract is therefore ten years. The annual estimated value for the works is 100,000.00 GBP divided in to two Lots of approx. 50,000.00 GBP each. asra is also tendering a contract for asbestos survey and analytical services and tenderers are welcome to apply for both contracts. However tenderers are advised that they will only be appointed to one contract, should they be the highest placed tenderer on both Contracts, as asra believe there would be a Conflict of Interest and asra would also not be able to audit the two different Contracts in accordance with its in-house procedures and financial regulations. Tenderers are required to state whether they would prefer to be appointed as the Asbestos Removal Contractor or the Asbestos Survey Consultant if applying for both Contracts. Economic operators should note that the mytenders website will be used to administrate the process and submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Postbox facility.
