Scanning of CYPS (SEND Inclusion & Support) Paper Client Case Files

Business Services have been instructed to digitise client case file paper records as they currently hold over 14,595 files and storage space is limited. New ways of working, such as the hybrid model, requires staff to have instant access to client information, and this is currently unachievable as paper files are located in different rooms within the Education Development Centre. Therefore, the Council will utilise the service provision of a trusted, capable, reliable and responsible provider to enable the case files to be safely and securely digitised. In-house and current contractual options are not viable for this project due to the short timeline for implementation and the sensitive nature of the case files being digitised.
