Description

Provision of a Totara based Learning Management System. York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (YTHFT) provides acute services for approximately 575,000 patients based in and around the York and Scarborough areas, as well as some community based services and has acute hospitals at York, Scarborough and Bridlington with community hospitals at Selby, Malton, Easingwold and York. YTHFT employ approximately 9,800 staff spread across a geographical area of approx. 3,000miles2. YTHFT have been using Totara for five years hosted on an internal server sitting on the internal IT network. Most YTHFT staff access Totara via single sign-on (SAML authentication) from within the Trust network, some niche departments and users who do not have a Trust active directory account use manual authentication. Totara is also accessible from the internet via username and password for all users. YTHFT are now looking for a supplier to maintain our existing Totara system (Totara Learn v10), main areas of use are: -Course creation -Program & certifications -Appraisals -Nurse Revalidation toolkit -Reporting (including Global Report Restrictions) -Dashboards Day to day maintenance of Totara is the responsibility of the Learning Technologies Team (LTT) at YTHFT. The authority is looking for a partner to support our Totara based Learning Hub / system. The contract is for 5 year in total.
