The Testing & Maintenance of Establishment and Emergency Lighting

Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking tenders for the testing, servicing & repair of establishment and emergency lighting systems, to ensure that all systems are operating correctly and comply with current safety regulations. The works shall be the testing, servicing & repair of establishment and emergency lighting systems and comprise the following elements: a) Day to day repairs to faulty internal, external & emergency lighting on receipt of an emailed order or telephone call from the Councils Housing Repairs Centre. b) Annual cleaning of all internal, external and emergency fittings (excluding lighting columns) shall be carried out when resetting the time clocks at the end of British Summer Time. c) Visit all sites to adjust time clocks to summer/winter GMT. d) Monthly testing of all emergency lighting. e) Three monthly test and inspection of all internal lighting. f) Three monthly testing of all emergency lighting. g) Annual service to all emergency lighting and supply certificate.
