Unconscious Bias (GMC242)

Our current programme of work on unconscious bias focuses on decision making within our regulatory activities. We want to identify some external expertise to do the following: a Develop and deliver unconscious bias training for decision makers involved in our regulatory activities. This would provide a safe space for colleagues to explore where bias might influence their work. b To brief HR on issues relating to unconscious bias in the workplace to enable them to support managers and staff in recruitment and selection activities. c Provide expert advice to the Equality and Diversity (E&D) team to help us further develop our guidance and work in this area.
