Market Oversight Legal Services Panel

This is a Contract Award Notice. In order to fulfil its statutory duties to assess the financial sustainability of care providers subject to the Market Oversight Scheme the Market Oversight team may need to engage third party lawyers with expertise in areas outside the expertise of the CQC in house legal team (such as commercial restructuring, international commercial, insolvency or leasing). The purpose of the procurement is to establish a Market Oversight legal services panel who may be requested to provide external legal expertise. This procurement was undertaken through the CCS Legal Services Panel Agreement (RM6179), Lot 1 - General Legal Advice Services, following the Further Competition process. The Contract is awarded for an initial period of 36 months with an option to extend for up to 8 months and 21 days. Total Awarded Value is maximum of all charges including all optional contract extensions. Contract Reference: CQC ASC 004
