Description
Agri-EPI Centre is seeking bids from qualified and experienced suppliers of automatic weighing units for beef cattle monitoring purposes. Removing labour intensive weight monitoring whilst still getting accurate daily live weights is crucial to allow progressive farmers to ensure that their cattle are at optimum weights when sent to the abattoir, reducing the risk of receiving over-weight penalties whilst ensuring the cattle are at their premium weight. It also allows AEC to remotely access data for projects and other uses. The tracking of LWG (Live Weight Gain) allows the management of cattle nutrition to speed up or slow down the growth to make sure that the cattle are ready when you need them to be. Auto weighing unit with water trough and data analysed with delivery to stockman via mobile phone.
