Description
There is an urgent need to replace components of the harbour control system that is used to control harbour water levels. This is a critical part of Bristol's flood risk management system. Automatic operation of the system is currently failing, necessitating staff attendance, driven by twice daily tide times, to ensure sluices operate as required. Learnd Ltd carry out regular maintenance and have submitted a quote to supply and install replacement components to ensure the system is returned to full automation operation as soon as possible. This work is of such urgency there is no time for competitive procurement. Learnd Ltd have a detailed knowledge of the control system and its components and can undertake the work as soon as a contract is placed. Learnd have submitted a quote of £31,431.78
