Description
The Disabled Facilities Grant is a mandatory Government grant, administered by local councils to fund a range of work that will help a disabled person remain in their home. ENGIE's Home Improvement Service on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council (the Authority) is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the renewal of a Strategic Housing Framework. The framework delivers the Authority's Disabled Facilities Grants, which provides essential adaptations to give disabled persons better freedom of movement around the house, emergency grants to owner occupiers unable to finance emergency repairs and Home Appreciation Loans to eligible owner occupiers to allow them to bring the property up to a Decent Homes Standard. The framework is divided into two lots: Lot 1 - Level Access Showers Lot 2 - Housing Repairs and Disabled Adaptations Tenderers can bid for one or both lots.
