The items being procured for UKRI - STFC, ISIS are a 4 custom shaped bespoke concrete blocks that will form part of the radiation shielding on the ISIS beamline ChipIR. The concrete blocks are designed by ISIS and reviewed to ensure they will provide effective radiation shielding in the main TS2 hall; they are highly critical to the safe operation of the beamline.
