To provide a Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme to the eligble of poulation of the North East and Cumbria area, this is for males during their 65th year and, on request, for men over 65. The process is to identify apparently healthy people who may be at increased risk of a disease or condition. They can then be offered information, further tests and appropriate treatment to reduce their risk and/or any complications arising from the disease or condition
