Reporting Radiography evaluation

Health Education England's (HEE) core purpose is the education and training of healthcare staff. Over recent years, HEE has invested through the Multi-Professional Education and Training Investment Plan (METIP) under the Cancer and Diagnostics priorities to fund the workforce development of reporting radiographers within the National Health Service (NHS) to boost workforce capacity. This initiative supported the 2017-2021 funding of education and training of 300 reporting radiographers under the NHS England Cancer Workforce Plan and Five Year Forward View to support earlier diagnosis, boosted by the additional funding of 150 reporting radiographers between March 2021-March 2024.
