Description
To support HS2 Ltd in its future community engagement events, HS2 Ltd has awarded a contract to Glasgow Limited for the provision of event management services for HS2 community engagement activities. These engagement activities will take place along the entire HS2 Ltd line of route and will include but are not limited to: Events management; project planning; venue sourcing; catering, provision of security personnel and first aid trained personnel; collateral sourcing and storage; organising staff training; and sourcing of audio visual (AV) equipment. To procure the contract a further competition was conducted under Lot 2 (Events) of the CCS RM3796 Communication Services Framework. The contract has been awarded for an initial period of two years, with a capped value of £2,600,000. The contract includes an option to extend for a further two years, which will be taken in one yearly increments, to a maximum value of £700,000 per extension. The maximum capped value of the contract, inclusive of the initial contract period and both optional extension periods is £4,000,000.
