Pavements - Decision Support Tool (NH)

Extension of existing G-Cloud Agreement with Causeway for the provision of the Pavement Decision Support Tools. Decision support tools enable the integration and management of vast amounts of data related to asset conditions, maintenance history, usage patterns, and environmental factors. These tools can handle diverse data types and sources, including sensor data, inspection reports, GIS data, and historical records, providing a comprehensive view of asset health. These tools utilise advanced algorithms and models to assess the current condition of assets and predict their future condition based on various factors such as usage, weather patterns, material degradation, and maintenance schedules. By accurately predicting asset deterioration, maintenance needs can be anticipated, planned, and executed proactively, minimising the risk of unexpected failures and optimising resource allocation. Decision support tools enable National Highways to make informed decisions regarding investment priorities and resource allocation. By analysing asset condition data alongside budget constraints, risk factors, and performance objectives, DSTs help identify the most critical areas requiring immediate attention and allocate resources efficiently to maximise the overall performance and longevity of assets.
