Description
DFt want to understand the effectiveness of pre and post test educational, technological and training interventions in improving novice driver behaviour and reducing novice driver collision rates. An initial evidence review, undertaken by TRL, has identified four intervention types that show particular promise. DFT now wishes to test these four interventions, together with a new educational intervention, in the real-world via Randomised Controlled Trail with young learners and novice drivers, in order to determine the impact that each of the five interventions has on safety of participants, in terms of their likelihood of having a collision within twelve months of passing their test.
