Consultancy Services for: An evaluation of Widening Participation activities and financial support for Widening Participation students at Lancaster University - AWARD

The University is seeking tenders under the terms of this ITT for a Consultant to evaluate the Widening Participation (WP) activities and the financial support for Widening Participation students at Lancaster University. Over the past three years the University has significantly increased its evaluation and monitoring of our WP activities and, in particular, those that are captured under our Office for Students (OfS) eligible expenditure as outlined in our annual access and participation (APP) plans. The University has developed a longitudinal evaluation programme comprising three inter-related strands of activity in conjunction with a series of targeted evaluation projects. From this the University has developed an improved data source from which to draw conclusions about the effectiveness and impact of our activities, including the profile of the students we are working with. The aim is to assess the impact and opportunities of our WP and OfS eligible activities. This tender is for the procurement of a team or individual to build on and develop the work we have already undertaken in regards to the evaluation of the work we carry out across each stage of the student lifecycle. This includes pre-entry work with students in year 5 - 13 and post-entry with undergraduate students at Lancaster. Further details can be found at Schedule 1: Specification within the ITT
