Description

There is a duty on Clinical Commissioning Groups to support choice of provider options for people accessing mental health services, in the same way we support choice for other planned care services. An area of our current focus is to increase choice in the provision of assessment and or treatment services for all age (pre-school children, school-age children, young people and adults) Neurodiversity. (Autism Spectrum Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) NHS Calderdale CCG (CCCG) is seeking to increase choice of providers to develop direct contractual arrangements. The intention is to create a direct commissioning relationship with multiple providers to support greater choice for our population. Through a future procurement process we will undertake the necessary due diligence which will enable referrals to be made directly to successful providers by GPs. The approved list will be shared with service users, carers, partners and stakeholders to enable people to make an informed decision about the choices available to them. Provider(s) will ensure: •Appropriate Clinical oversight is provided for the service. •The service is accessible and can meet the needs of the diverse population of Calderdale and specific groups who experience inequality. •The venue meets required safety, quality, infection, prevention, and control standards and offers a safe and welcoming environment for people using the service and their carers/relatives. •Staff providing the services must include suitably qualified and experienced professional (in accordance with good practice and National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) Guidance, and providers must be able to show that appropriate arrangements are in place for maintaining and updating relevant skills and knowledge for supervision. •All premises and equipment used for the provision of service are always suitable for the delivery of those services and sufficient to meet the needs of the population they serve. •They establish links with local partners to support the delivery of a system-wide approach to neurodiversity. Based on the above the CCG is keen to receive responses to the market test from suitably qualified potential bidders. Your response should include: • An overview of your organisation(s) and experience in providing neurodiversity (Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD) / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD)) assessments and / or treatment in accordance with NICE Guidance. • Confirmation that your interest is based on a clear understanding of the requirements set out in this notice. • Details on your costings per completed assessment (please include any costs associated with initiating and maintaining medication for ADHD). If available, please provide a breakdown of costs as indicated below: - Face-to-face, - On-line / videocall or - Combined neuro assessment • Your proposed service model that links to the requirements set out in this notice.
