Description
Devon County Council are looking to award haulage contractor in order to provide the following services. The Service will entail the haulage of approximately 4000 tonnes of Mid Devon District Council’s kerbside collected garden waste from the District’s depot at Hitchcocks Industrial Estate, Willand to Hill Barton, Exeter for composting purposes. The Service further entails the haulage of approximately 10,000 tonnes of Mid Devon District Council’s kerbside collected household waste from the District’s depot at Hitchcocks Industrial Estate, Willand to Marsh Barton, Exeter, for energy recovery purposes. The Service additionally will require the haulage of approximately 4,000 tonnes of Mid-Devon District Council's kerbside collected household waste from the District Council's depot at Hitchcocks Industrial Estate, Willand to Plymouth to be recovered at MVV's energy recovery facility The Contract will be for an initial service term of three years with the option to extend for up to a maximum of 3 further years The Service delivery of this contract is scheduled to commence on 1st April 2024
